    Description

    This is a vintage violin uke, made by Marxochime Colony in New Troy, Michigan.
    It is a bowed psaltery with zither strings made popular in the 1920s. It could be played with a bow like a violin, or plucked like a ukulele.
    This instrument is in very good condition overall, and all strings are intact, but it is badly out of tune. It would need to be tuned, and the bow would need to be restrung, in order to play it. There are
    a few visible surface cracks on the back that appear to be only on the surface. There are no cracks or splits on the face or sides.
    Size: Approx. 20" long, 6 1/2" wide.
