Vintage 1960's Mattel Barbie BRUNETTE MIDGE *VG-EX Condition

Description

This is a Vintage 1960's Mattel Barbies friend  Brunette "Midge" doll that is in very good played with condition. We are not familiar with Barbie and got our info from the "Barbie Dolls and Collectibles" Book. If you have a specific question, please e-mail us before bidding as she is SOLD AS-IS. Midge has black/brunette hair that appears uncut. Her hair doesn’t look like it was ever combed and still retains the original tight curls on the bottom ends. She has bright face paint that looks to be all there and no facial discoloration that I can see. Her face is a little darker that the rest of her body, but nothing bad. There are no holes in her ears and her head is firmly attached to her body with no neck splits or damage. Her body is tight and not swingy and she is marked "Midge T.M./(c) 1962/Barbie (R)/(c) 1958/By /Mattel, Inc. Patented" on her backside. She is marked "Japan" on the bottom of her right foot.  Her breasts have pin holes poked through them. There are no chew marks on her hands but her feet have some marks and one toe is missing on her right foot. This can be seen in the close up picture of her feet. Her fingers and toes retain a lot  of the original polish.  She could use a good overall cleaning as her arms and legs are dirty, but she has no odor or musty smell that I can detect. There are some black marks on the back of her calves that need to be cleaned off as well. She is very pretty on display and would make a welcome addition to your Vintage Barbie doll Collection!!
