Description

This VWR Model 371 Magnetic Hotplate Stirrer 13259-030 is in fair to poor cosmetic condition with many signs of use.
This unit has scuffs and scratches present, as well as significant staining and some corrosion. Staining appears to be from
liquid spillage, and appears to have gone under the heating surface as well.
I was able to power on this unit. When starting to stir, the unit did not begin stirring until it was a little passed the "7" on
the knob scale. Unit began heating immediately and quickly heated passed 120ºC. Above approximately 110ºC, the unit had
some fumes from under the heating surface.
I do not have the knowledge or equipment to fully test this unit, so it is sold As-Is.
