SAINT CHRISTOPHER DASHBOARD BADGE WITH ENGRAVING IN HIGH RELIEF
Attributed to an Italian engraver, this was not a very expensive in the era, crafted in aluminum. However tha dashboard badge presents a very nice depiction of Saint Christopher carrying baby Jesus, crafted in relief.
Diameter 50mm. Condition: Good + condition, with some discoloration. Unsigned.
This exact example is photographed and described in Maximiliano Garay 's book " Saint Christophe - dashboard badges of the golden era of motoring ", on page 268.
