    3" X 2 3/4"   PURE COPPER    CROSSED SWORDS ARE OF BRASS
    Has been cleaned a little but still shows beautiful deep cholate patina with a few soft lavender heart tones.
    MATTHEW LANDERS served under Quantrill, the leader of Missouri's largest Confederate querrilla band during the civil war.
    Quantrill truly earned his title of the bloodiest man in American Civil War history.
    This plate was most likely used as a I.D. plate on a saddle bag on perhaps a trunk.
    Came out of an old farm house estate sale in Freeburg Missouri.
