When used with a HEPA vacuum, a safe way to remove old lead paint from a home's exterior while avoiding dangerous chemicals or heat guns.
The PaintShaver cleanly removes paint from clapboards, shingles, shakes, fiberglass, concrete, steel, or any flat surface. This tool will remove coatings from the flat and butt ends of clapboards, shingles, and shakes simultaneously to speed work.
PaintShaver leaves flat surfaces with a scuffed finish - the Orbital SanderVac can be used to create a smooth finish.
With any nails recessed, the PaintShaver will strip 2 square feet of clapboard per minute.
An adjustable cutting depth of 0 to 1/10 inch will remove paint in a single pass.
Each set of Tungsten Carbide Blades will strip up to 2,000 sq ft of lead paint, double that on non-lead paint.
Improved double handle design reduces fatigue and is easier to use.
