His work is now commanding prices upward of a thousand dollars. While this is a modern piece, This beautiful painting looks like one created a hundred years ago with dark, rich tones and gorgeous detail. It it perfectly framed with an thick ornate gold toned wooden frame and it is in perfect condition. There is one spot in the background (about 1/4” diameter) where it looks like the paint did not take well to the canvas and a couple spots where the artist may have touched up the background with a slightly different color.
