Original Antique Wood Engraving - Camp of the 20th Indiana Regt.
Believed to be from  'Frank Leslie's Famous Leaders and Battle Scenes of the Civil War'
Title beneath image:  "View of the Camp of the Twentieth Indiana Regiment; also of Fort Hatteras and the anchorage at Hatteras Point, N.C."
I acquired a large collection of loose prints, many of which had been trimmed with the publisher's name and date of origin removed.  This is one of them.  I believe though, that it's from the Frank Leslie book listed above.
That was a collection of illustrations republished after the war and which had originally been printed in his newspapers during the war, using the same original artwork.
There's another full page illustration on the back side of this ... "Evacuation of Corinth, Miss. (Union troops and cavalry in persuit of retreating Confederate troops.  I've included a partial scan (too big for my scanner)
Very good condition.  Bit better than what you might expect from a 140-150 year old newspaper type print.
