"BUY IT NOW"An old original Davis Motorcar Company medallion or pendant. Davis Motorcar Company was founded by used car salesman Glenn "Gary" Davis in 1947 and produced a vehicle called the Davis Divan that was based off "The Californian" a prototype three wheeled roadster designed by famed Indy 500 car builder Frank Kurtis. Less than 15 Davis Divans were built before the company shut down in 1948 and Davis was arrested on 28 counts of theft and fraud!! After he got out of prison Davis went on to invent the "Dodge-Em" bumper cars popular at county fairs and amusement parks.
This old original Davis Divan Medal measures about 1 inch round.
