Featuring a unique DMC Intercom mode which allows multi-party intercom calls for up to 15 riders with a 5 mile range. The DMC protocol allows the units to "chain" their signal together to create a huge range of connected units. The DMC protocol is also adaptive and responsive: the network you and your riding buddies are connected on allows units to leave and enter the group call without any extra action needed. Just add your buddies to the list of approved devices and the Packtalk takes care of the rest. This DMC feature is truly unique in the world of motorcycle communication systems. If you don't need the DMC functionality you can also switch to the more power economical Bluetooth mode for intercom calls with up to 5 riders. The Cardo Gateway feature also allows non-Cardo headsets to connect. Other features include Voice Command, A2DP connection to a phone or MP3 player, built-in FM radio, noise cancellation and Music Sharing (rider and passenger listen to the same music). The Cardo Packtalk is equipped with interchangeable hybrid and corded microphones, as well as replaceable 45mm JBL speakers. This allows you to use your own microphone or earbuds if you prefer those over the Cardo parts. The Cardo Packtalk Black has an IP67 waterproof rating, meaning you will never have to be worried about using your Packtalk unit in the rain.
