    Description

    Liberated Goods.
    O
ver the years, I’ve had the pleasure of working with reenactors from many different periods of time by supplying them with uniforms, weapons, clothing and a variety of other items that would support their military or civilian impressions.
In my interactions, I found that reenactors and other historical interpreters were not only very knowledgeable and passionate about their hobby, but remarkably dedicated to ensuring that their impression was as accurate as possible.
My firm, Liberated Goods, presented a fairly unique collection of items for sale at reenactments, as almost all of my inventory had been previously used, rendering a more authentic appearance.
A fact that is somewhat unusual is that my suppliers were the reenactors themselves.
They sold me parts of their collections that they no longer needed, reflecting goods from just about any historic period.
It was not uncommon to receive a large grouping of World War II goods at a Civil War reenactment or Revolutionary War items at a Civil War event.
I also obtained inventory through the mail from individuals, historic sites, and from post-production sales through the motion picture industry.
In other instances, I would buy out select inventory from other retail operations.
Although most of my goods directly supported reenactors and their specific impressions, I would buy related items as well.
    This offering represents the latter.
I obtained many framed and unframed prints from collectors representing work from well-known artists such as Mort Kunstler, Don Trioani, Don Stivers, Rick Reeves, Bradley Schmehl, Keith Rocco, John Paul Strain, Michael Gnatek, and others.
At this time, I’m submitting for your review, only the framed images.
Although they were previously owned, they are all in excellent condition, complete with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA).
Should there be an anomaly, I will state such issues in the conditions section of the listing.
    SHIPPING:
Also I would more than happy to ship to a successful bidder, however, in checking with UPS and FedEx, I’ve found that the shipping cost is way too prohibitive.
In one instance, FedEx wanted 9.00 to pack and ship a print.
As such, and regrettably so, I’m listing my framed prints for local pick-up only in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
As an aside, although Fredericksburg used to have as many four businesses featuring historical art, they no longer exist.
This is particularly sad for an area whose history includes the Battle of Fredericksburg, Wilderness, Chancellorsville, and Spotsylvania Court House.
