HENRY LIMBAUGH~LIMEBAUGH?~TIN CANTEEN~Civil War?
Metal  tin canteen ~ screw lid measures about 6"w x5 3/4"H x 2". A paper was taped to the bottom as shown and when I finally pulled that up to see if any marking on the tin was an name "GRACE'S GRANDFATHER"~
The name  hand written is LIMEBAUGH???..I found severl names that         could nbe a HENRY/J/H? LIMBAUGH from the Civil War era.........so nothing confirmed at the actually last name spelling.

ALSO LISTED SEPARATE:
TWO canteens are blue granite with the one that has a wooly type fabric feel on the exterior and has no cork. I do NOT know the age of these two canteens(even tho one shows "1952" on the bottom~>DATE??? Not for sure that I am listing. I bought them at an estate sale and have only used them for a while for sitting on a shelf.
Each measures 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches/. ONE has a cork stopper attached plus some numbers and possibly a date on the printed on the bottom of the one /hard to read:(1952?) Has a few minor flaws to the surface from being used I would assume. *The white area shown on the from of that flask/canteen is from my lighting. Will be sent in medium flat rate box.
