Hand signed by Johnny Rutherford on the back side dust paper AND inscribed "TO FRED - WITH VERY BEST WISHES AND THANKS - JOHNNY RUTHERFORD", as shown - This 'Fred' being FRED STECHER, the mid- 1970's President of Citicorp Services AND Director of Citicorp / First National Travelers Checks Motorsports sponsorship activities, one of Rutherford's primary sponsors! This photograph shows Johnny Rutherford "at speed" in his "Goodyear / Citicorp / First National Travelers Checks McLAREN #2" Indy race car, and I believe this photo was taken at the 1976 Canadian Grand Prix! The photo is on TEXTURED stiff card board that looks almost like an oil painting, in a polished bright metal frame measuring a LARGE 15" X 11.75", with brown craft paper dust protector on the back side, as shown!

The bright metal frame shows very light edge wear with some minor bumps, rubs, and/or very faint scuffs; the photograph itself is in excellent+ condition; the craft paper dust protector on the back side has one tiny puncture at upper left corner near the frame; the original Johnny Rutherford autograph (in bold black ballpoint) is perfect; overall in excellent or maybe better VINTAGE condition!
