Engraved by Blache, this badge´s engraving is based on a 1573 image by Domenico Xénoni. Each piece produced was uniquely numbered on back.
Measures 40mm aprox. Very good condition, made in bronze with golden finish. Signed BLACHE and numbered 4840 on back.
Similar example is photographed and described in Maximiliano Garay 's book " Saint Christophe - dashboard badges of the golden era of motoring " on page 51.
