    Description

    The Congo Democratic Republic 500 Francs with a pick number P-100 was issued in 2010 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Congos independence from Belgium. The front side of the note features the Port of Matadi adorned with cranes, buildings, ships, and backdropped with mountains. The reverse of the 151 x 70 mm paper bill shows the Kinsuka Bridge. On the bottom right is the 50th year logo. The banknote bears a registration that reflects RDC and a map on the obverse and BCC and a map on the reverse. Additionally, it has a solid security thread with a demetalized REP DEM DU CONGO. It also has a watermark that consists of the head of an okapi. This particular Congo Democratic Republic 500 Francs is in uncirculated condition and has been authenticated by the Banknote Worlds TAP authentication experts.
