The inside flap is marked with the inspectors mark, E. E Haylord,Shioopee Mass. The pouch is made of bridle leather, with brass fittings and a bored poplar block. The length is 7 ¾ inches by inner box 7 inches, and 1 ¾ inches thickness. No cartridge holes. Please look over the pictures carefully as they are also part of the description. I collected US Springfield muskets when I had my collection of every Civil War model musket. I collected Civil War muskets and Civil War items for many years. Most of the collectors in my area know of the collection I had. I purchased reference books and read before I would ever purchase a musket or other items. I have a strong base of collectors that know me and know of my knowledge and items. I have since sold all of my muskets, rifles, pistols, and other militaria items. I still am selling the remainder items. From my personal collection I'm selling my collection that I have been collecting for more than 50 years. I am selling due to my age. My passion is History, and I desire that my vintage militaria items go to collectors so that our past lives on, and the items will continue to be preserved. Many many years ago, a collector friend of mine came over to see my collection. He said to me, "you do not own these items; they are simply on loan to you until another collector buys your items to enjoy and preserve." Years later, I have realized just how exact his words were. Please, I want only collectors to buy my collection. It is important to me that the vintage items are preserved for years to come for History. This item has been in my collection for many years. My collections are in rooms that do not get any outside light. Therefore, you won't find any fading with any of my militaria items, a smoke-free environment. No cats and only a little Yorkie occasionally. Payment All items should be paid through Paypal. YOU DO NOT NEED A PAYPAL "Account" to use PayPal - they accept credit cards, ATM, and even checks!!!!!
