Civil War Figures Chess Set.
This was a Special Edition to History Channel Club Life Members only.
Set is a multi-games set and the board on top of wooden box can flip over for a different game board....The box holds game pieces.
Set includes: Chess, Checkers, Backgammon,  Dominoes, and Cribbage.
Set is complete to the best of our knowledge

The chess pieces are Confederate and Union men, with notable Soldiers/Military Leaders including Abraham Lincoln, the men are all hand painted and felted. The checkers are the American Flag and the Confederate Flag, the pieces are hand painted and felted. The beautiful case is made of solid mahogany with maple inlay representing the lighter colors on the boards. The box stores everything in the drawer and under the board. The box is labeled History (the History Channel Club) lifetime member. The chess board flips for a backgammon board on the opposite side. The square box measures 15 ½” x 5”.
Condition: A gentleman received this chess set as part of being a lifetime member supporting the History Channel (Club). It remained in the box.  After his passing the family had a sale to help widow condense items so she could relocate back to her home state.  Someone marked on the box, someone else changed it to 0.  This is on the box flap and has nothing to do with our listing here.  The family recommended she pull the item from the sale and she did, then she asked me to sell it on eBay. Comes from smoke free home.
