    Description

    An original Civil War Confederate related cover that belonged to George C. Freeman.  I looked up George C. Freeman online and it said he was a soldier in the Chatham Artillery during the war. This cover was sent to him. There appears to be pencil writing in one area that mentions, Beech Island South Carolina.  I think it was sent to him during the 1800s when he was a civilian.  I currently have other items listed that belonged to this individual.
    The cover has wear and stain marks.
