    These items are original from the American Civil War timeframe
    These include
    A Civil War Belt Buckle that is the style of the Boyd and Sons and is most likely a surplus piece that came from the Francis Bannerman Collection. He bought up surplus items from the military after the American Civil War. The buckle is in fantastic condition and has the original arrow hooks. The buckle is made of stamped brass with the US markings on the front and lead filled back.
    Buttons and insignia identified to Albert Prescott who was killed on the Petersburg Battlefield on July 30th, 1864 as part of the 57th Massachusetts infantry. This was part of the American Civil War
    It is rare to find anything that has can be ID’d to a casualty of the American Civil War. I acquired this directly from his estate. These are in really nice shape. Sent home after his death.
    The Silver Spoons are from 1810-1860. One is British and has all of the proof marks that would have been required from an any English Silver of that time. These are in nice shape.
    A Civil War Era match safe from the Diamond Match Company. It was also owned by Albert Prescott. It is in really nice shape and it is hard to find these in any shape these days. This one is made of brass and has not been messed with. These are the style that is mentioned in Lord’s book of Civil War collectibles. This was also from the Prescott estate. This was sent home from the battlefield at Petersburg.
    The bullet mold is really nice and hard to find. I believe it is for a pistol or a small caliber firearm. It is completely original and would be from the 1850’s-1860’s. I bought it from an estate in Virginia and had been in the family though it was not from the original family of that estate. A great piece from the Civil War time from.
