    Civil War 1st Lieutenant Shoulder Strap. This is an original Lieutenants shoulder rank that came home from the war on a uniform. It is in nice condition for its age. Some loss of the blue but overall very solid. Open back design typical of The Civil War Period. This strap measures 4.5 inches by 1.5 inches and is an early strap as officers tended to go with the smaller straps as the war progressed and didn’t want to be targets of snipers. Comes in the pictures timer case for display.
