Brass auto insurance badge

Description

This oval shaped brass badge reads 'protection-service Iowa Farm Bureau Federation' around the brass colored outer edge. Inside that is a black ring which says 'State Farm Mutual Auto Ins. Co. Bloomington ILL.' There is a thin brass ring inside the black one. The center design is a brass colored car on a red background. The red paint has chips and scratches showing a black color underneath. There are small white spots most noticeably under the front of the car. By the style of the car I would date this badge to the 1920's or 30's.
