A beautiful 1949 Ohio Registered Chauffeur metal pin-back badge or tag. This chromed metal driver license is oval in shape, is flat and has a pin on the back. It is stamped on the front with the words "REGISTERED CHAUFFEUR OHIO; EXPIRES SEPT. 30 1949; 114739" with the Ohio Seal splitting the word Ohio on the front. The back has no markings as to the maker but is stamped PAT. 2383012. Please carefully review the photos presented as they are part and parcel of our description.

Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece:
This is a rare vintage driver license in such a great shape which is very hard to come by.
Condition:
If this was a coin, I would grade it very fine or better with all details present and minimum wear. The Piece is all there with no breaks, cracks, or distortions. The pin works as it should. It has some scratches and minor dings, but that does not really distract from the quality of the piece. In addition, the piece has some general wear commensurate with its age and utilitarian function. Finally, the piece has remnants of an auction sticker on the back, which we are certain can be cleaned, but will leave that to the new owner. Please view photos for additional condition information.
