This Doll comes from an estate collection of Annalee (and other) collectible dolls. According to the trustee, the collector would buy dolls, display them for a week or two in a glass curio cabinet, until another was bought, then she would store them in totes and never take them out again. She also said, quite often the collector would buy a doll, put it away for an upcoming holiday and then never take them back out, making many of these dolls NEVER DISPLAYED. That explains why these dolls, including the older ones, are in such good condition. They look like they are straight out of the Annalee Workshop. It will take a few weeks to get all of the dolls in this collection listed, so be sure to check back often to see what is new.
