1939 Tunisia Registered Air Mail Cover – Tunis to Nice, France

A colorfully franked registered air mail cover - a Maison Dorée Hotel envelope – sent from Tunis, Tunisia to Nice, France. Franked with Tunisia Scott #90 and #97, the 65¢ and 1fr stamps from 1938-40 and #128-129 and #131-132, the 20¢, 25¢. 40¢ and 50¢ stamps from 1931 plus #C11, the 1.50fr on 1.80fr air mail stamp from 1930. All are tied by Tunis postmarks dated May 10, 1939. On the reverse is a Nice arrival postmark dated May 11, 1939. This cover measures 155mm x 125mm. See scans for condition.
