1935-36 Hackney Driver Badge, Boston Police Department, MA, Taxi, Brass

Description

Beautiful old badge, with its original big safety pin.  Nickel-plated brass.  3.5x2.5".  Made by  A.C. Walter & Sons, NYC, and stamped "Property of the Boston Police Department" on the back.  In great shape.  I haven't washed it so it will shine more if you want to do that.  Expired on January 31, 1936".  I don't know if this was for carriage drivers or for taxi drivers as well.
