SADC Summit | Zimbabwe court denies bail for activists

HARARE – In Zimbabwe there’s a growing crackdown on dissent ahead of this weekend’s Southern African Development Community summit.

Rights groups and international observers have condemned the arrest and detention of activists Namatai Kwekweza, Robson Chere, and Samuel Gwenzi.
The three were detained while heading to a civil society conference and have been denied bail.
